Registration Information
PreRegistration
We realize that even elective surgery, such as the procedure you are scheduled for, can create anxiety. To decrease that anxiety on the day of surgery we ask that all patients preregister two or more days before surgery whenever possible. This will enable our business office to get preauthorization, verify benefits and make financial arrangements. In most cases we should be able to estimate your copayment and/or deductible beforehand. Please bring insurance cards and picture ID with you at that time.
If you are unable to preregister in person please call our business office so that the registration process can be initiated over the phone.
On the Day of Surgery........
Your doctor's office will advise you of when to arrive at Sahara Surgery Center on the day of your surgery. It's usually an hour to an hour and a half before the scheduled time of your procedure. When you arrive you will be met by a staff member committed to provide you with individualized attention. Our staff is experienced and competent and the comfortable setting of our facility is designed to create a low stress environment.
